Expect Respect, a program of SAFE, is committed to ending the cycle of abuse by empowering youth leaders, supporting those exposed to violence, and engaging communities, schools, and parents in educational initiatives.

The first event of the day is an afternoon dessert and fashion show aiming to educate youth and athletes of middle and high schools of Texas about dating abuse and healthy relationships. The evening event is a dinner, fashion show, and gala to raise funds to support Expect Respect.

A Day to Shine will honor our LifeStyle Award recipients, Sheriff and Mrs. Greg Hamilton, for exemplifying and demonstrating commitment to inspiring healthy and positive relationships through strength of character, inspirational leadership, and service to others.
