UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum and Hotel Ella will host author Virginia Cumberbatch and Leslie Blair Virginia Cumberbatch, authors of the book As We Saw It: The History of Integration at the University of Texas at Austin. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event.
With the authors will be two “precursors,” African-American students who attended UT when it first became integrated. The event will take place at Hotel Ella’s Goodall Restaurant. Attendance is limited to the first 75 people who RSVP to the event.
