Sara Hickman will present a special benefit concert to benefit a women's hospital and rehab/education center in Uganda, the first of its kind dedicated to help prevent and end the suffering caused by obstetric fistula. Alice Emasu, the co-founder of Terrewode, and Sharon Howe, the co-founder of Uganda Fistula Fund, will both speak. There will also be a brief documentary about a similar hospital in Ethiopia: A Walk To Beautiful.
The goal of this event is to fund the surgical building with Texan donations.
