The Bullock Museum offers visitors free admission on the first Sunday of every month, and learning about the story of Texas is a great way to celebrate Labor Day with the family. Young children can enjoy story time from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., with this month's theme being cowboys. Older kids will likely get a kick out of the Remarkable Sharks program at 3:30 p.m. and the Great White Shark 3D documentary currently screening at the IMAX Theatre. To compliment the new exhibit, Texas Furniture from the Ima Hogg Winedale Collection, there will be two demonstrations between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the art of "treening," which is creating handmade wooden utensils for use in the home.
