SFC Farmers’ Market East (a project of the Sustainable Food Center), which opened last spring at Ed Bluestein and 51st Street, will be moving March 5 to its new location at MLK and Miriam Street, near the M Station at the MLK, Jr. Capital MetroRail stop. Market times are also changing to 3 p.m.-7 p.m. every Tuesday.

Celebrate the move with special cooking demos, a goat petting zoo (courtesy of Swede Farm), live music and giveaways. The first 25 shoppers to bring a friend will each receive $5 in market tokens to spend. Give away of a basket of market goodies fresh from farmers and artisans worth more than $100.
