The City of Austin and Austin Shakespeare are proud to present a production production of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Now in its 31st year of Free Shakespeare in Zilker Park, Austin Shakespeare relocates this romantic comedy to 1890's Austin. The audiences is invited to bring picnics and blankets to see this Western style re-imagining of the popular show, where cowboys and city folk collide.
