Crossing genres and bringing together the music community for a special evening for mental health awareness, the SIMS Foundation, in partnership with Arlyn Studios, Austin FC and Deep Eddy Vodka, will host “Music for the Mind.” The virtual fundraising event features pre-recorded musical performances interwoven with personal stories as artists share their connections to mental health.

The lineup spans a variety of genres and artists, including And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Blackillac, The Bright Light Social Hour, Brownout, Gina Chavez, La Energía Norteña, Mélat, Riders Against the Storm, The Wind & the Wave, and more.

Singer/songwriter/producer, former NFL player, and mental health advocate Joe Barksdale will emcee the event that aims to celebrate the collective healing power of music and highlight the mission and life-supporting work of SIMS in Texas and beyond.
