Something for Nothing Theater graduates from one show to two shows a year with Romeo and Juliet, featuring an all-star cast of Austin’s favorite Shakespeareans. The play stars B. Iden Payne Award winners Justin Scalise as Mercutio and Taylor Flanagan as Juliet. The show also features David Boss as Friar Lawrence, Bob Jones as the Nurse, Becky Musser as Tybalt, and Steve Price as Lord Capulet. One notable new face is Madu, an NYU Tisch grad who will be joining us as Romeo.
The company produces the plays with minimal props, costumes, and lighting, focusing on storytelling and the wonderful language of Shakespeare.
