Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival

eventdetail

Calling all ghouls, goblins and ghosts! Wear your costume and run, walk, cart wheel, or skip your way through Texas School for the Deaf’s first Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival. Kids of all ages are encouraged to take part in the family-friendly festival, Kids’ Run and 5K. Festival activities include safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, games, super heroes in costume, hot air balloon glow and more.

The Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival is part of a series of community awareness and fundraising activities in Texas School for the Deaf’s Language For All Campaign. TSD is embarking on an ambitious campaign to inspire Texans to support the fundamental right to language for all of its citizens—including deaf and hard of hearing students.

Entrance to the festival is free and open to the public. Tickets can be purchased on site for all booths and games. Trick-or-treating is free.
