To further enhance it's "Literature and Sport" summer exhibit, the Harry Ransom Center will host a Sports Film Series, starting off with Bang the Drum Slowly.
Robert De Niro and Michael Moriarty star as a catcher and pitcher duo who form an unlikely bond as they cope over a terminal illness.
Line forms upon arrival of the first patron, with doors opening 30 minutes in advance.
