The Tetractys New Music Concert Series and multimedia artist Yuliya Lanina present a collaborative performance of new works featuring the world premiere of Within, Above and Beyond, a 20-minute audio-visual performance by Lanina with music composed by award-winning Austin-based composer Russell Pinkston.
The program also includes the world premiere of Tetractys’ 7th commissioned work entitled Madrigal Zero, for flute, clarinet, bassoon, steel-string guitar, and voices by Austin-based composer Michael Zapruder, as well as Ted Hearne’s Furtive Movements, for cello and percussion, and Last Hymn, for vibraphone and electronics by Paola Prestini.
