Putting its unique stamp of joyful carols and lullabies from Western Europe and British Isles, Texas Early Music Project will perform various arrangements for solo voices, small chorus, harp, violin, flute, mandolin, viols and lute including several original arrangements of two Nativity pastorals from 1684 by Marc-Antoine Charpentier and the choral masterpiece for 8 parts, Nesciens mater, by French composer Jean Mouton. Therese Honey will also join the troupe of soloists, choir and chamber orchestra.
Performances on December 9 and 10 will take place at First English Lutheran Church; December 11 performance will take place at First Presbyterian Church.
