The Texas Military Forces Museum shares the true meaning behind Memorial Day with a look at life for American troops during World War II. The program at Camp Mabry focuses on the history of the 36th Infantry Division of the Texas Army National Guard during the war. Free to the public, the event features soldier's uniforms and equipment as well as firing demonstrations and vehicle displays. Bleacher seating is available along with souvenirs and concessions.
