Once again, the infamous Texas Throwdown Game Show will ruthlessly pit the Texas Teen Book Festival authors against each other in a battle for the ages to determine which team will go home victorious and which team will suffer defeat.

This year six worthy authors will brave the competition: Sabaa Tahir, Rene S. Perez II, David Arnold, Caleb Roehrig, E.K. Johnston, and Jeffery Self. BookPeople’s very own Topher Bradfield will serve as the contest’s emcee.

The game show consists of fun and silly competitions, such as stylish toga wrapping and Pictionary, with points awarded - or deducted - at whim, in extraordinary portions.
