The Blanton Museum of Art will relaunch its popular art party, B Scene. The series returns quarterly with late-night hours, live music, dancing, food, drinks, and art events.
This year’s first iteration, titled "B Scene: Work/Life," toasts the closing of the exhibition "Day Jobs" with music by Austin band Money Chicha and DJ Gabby. There will be guided activities based on artworks in the exhibition. And in keeping with the party theme, attendees are encouraged to dress in “business attire” - however they interpret it - and snap a photo in the museum’s new Instagram-famous lookout spot.
