In conjunction with the exhibition "In a Dream You Saw a Way to Survive and You Were Full of Joy," Heloise Gold and Rosalyn Nasky return to Laguna Gloria to activate the site of Laguna Gloria’s newest sculpture, Swan Mother by Clare Rojas. The dynamic dancing duo will perform a version of Gold's longtime piece Bird Dream Dances & Songs, expressing “the essence of what it is to be a bird” through dance.
The performance will take place in a meadow along Lake Austin on the grounds of Laguna Gloria. Guests should dress for the weather and expect uneven ground.
The first 50 free RSVPs will also receive a free alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink at on-site café Spread & Co. Happy hour food and drink specials will also be available and can be carried to the performance.
