Celebrating the fifth season of The Theorists and 60th anniversary of Zilker Hillside Theater, 44 artists from across the US, México, and Middle East will take the stage, studio, and film screen for the Theorist Fest. Film screenings include the full-length SXSW audience choice award, Mr. Gaga.

There will be live music and dance featuring Bob Livingston and Romani tabla icon Oliver Rajamani playing to Bharatanatyam rhythms of Austin dance hall of fame, Anu Naimpally. Simultaneous site-specific performances and multi-media installations by lauded tech heretic Jason Akira Somma create an immersive experience for the audience.

Performers include Ballet Hartford, Matthew Shields, Ido Tadmor, Daniel Martinez, and Daniela Urías Borbón. Festival participants have the rare opportunity to dive into Master Classes with world-class guest artists in Countertechnique® with Joy Davis, Contemporary Ballet Ido Tadmor (Israeli Ballet), Gaga, and a multi-media laboratory with Somma.
