Back for its 19th year, the Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run 5K fun run brings two of Austin’s favorite things together – running and margaritas. Each dollar raised from the race will ensure that the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail remains one of Austin’s greatest assets for generations to come.
The Trail Foundation will welcome runners back for an in-person evening race. Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K race and celebrate with Maudie’s Tex-Mex at the finish-line party.
Registration includes race entry, an MMR t-shirt, and two Maudie's Margaritas and some Maudie's Tex Mex at the post-race party. In celebration of the Butler Trail’s 50th anniversary, MMR will feature fun twists at the event this year. Participants can break out their best 1970s running gear and celebrate with them.
