Travis County History Day is an annual event that celebrates the rich history of Travis County. The theme for this year is Crossroads of Culture: Folk Art and Travis County's Cultural Heritage.

The Hall of Government will be transformed into an exhibit space, featuring the collections of the Austin Friends of Folk Art, as well as selections from the collections of area institutions, local artists and collectors.

This is the eighth year of the event, which features special speakers, historical displays, live music, demonstrations, and refreshments.
