Smoke + Mash will be an all-day event at the Treaty Oak ranch that will include a BBQ expo with offerings from the barbecue experts at Alice’s Restaurant, World Barbecue Champion pitmaster Tuffy Stone, third generation barbecuer Sam Jones, and award-winning pitmaster Moe Cason.
Guests will be able to purchase $5 tickets, which can each be exchanged for a small barbecue plate from the vendors of their choice. There will also be live music throughout the day, including Hot Texas Swing Band, Night Cap and Deezie Brown, as well as a car show put on by the Austin Speed Shop. Additionally, this event will include the launch of Treaty Oak Distilling’s new, limited-edition Red, White & Blue Single Barrel Whiskey, which will be available for purchase all day.
The event will benefit Southern Smoke and Tate Farms, a fourth generation ranch whose event barn was destroyed by a fire in April.
