The Flatwater Foundation is a local non-profit devoted to providing access to mental health services for those in need affected by cancer. To help raise funds for their efforts, Flatwater hosts its annual fundraiser, Tyler's Dam That Cancer, with stand-up paddlers enjoying a 21-mile long trek across Lake Austin under the Texas sun to test their own physical and mental strength. All participants, donators and the general public are then invited for a celebration at Hula Hut starting at 5 pm when the paddlers make their triumphant return.
