Urban Roots is an Austin nonprofit that works with youth leaders to grow fresh food and build a community dedicated to achieving food equity. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Tour de Farm invites the community to come together for an evening showcasing youth leaders and delicious eats, all in support of tomorrow's future leaders.
The evening will include youth-led tours of the South Austin Farm, and will continue at nearby brewery Meanwhile Brewing Co. Attendees will enjoy a farm-to-table dinner featuring Distant Relatives’ and Urban Roots veggies. Plus, this year’s event will include performances by Ray Prim and his band and Chulita Vinyl Club ATX, an auction and raffle, lively yard games, and great conversation.
