Discovering new talent and being able to ferret out those that have what it takes can be monumental task. With a recent influx of institutional funding ($93 million, led by Kleiner Perkins), Telogis, a company based in Aliso Viejo, CA, is on a hiring spree with the goal of doubling its Austin-based workforce in the coming year.
With that in mind, Telogis (www.telogis.com) has partnered with the UT-based chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to host its first-ever hack-a-thon.
Twelve-straight hours of grueling coding and creativity that build on Telogis’ location-based GPS technologies, culminating in an awards ceremony where one lucky team will head home with an iPad Mini for each along with the chance to land an internship or a full-time position with Telogis.
Event will take place in the Academic Annes, Natural Sciences Building (ENS), Room ACA1.104.
