"125 Years in the Making" is a collaborative project facilitated by TSHM and TSLAC. The Bullock Museum will host the exhibit celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Texas State Capitol Building. The exhibit commemorates the 125th anniversary of the dedication of the Texas Capitol Building by displaying both 19th and 20th century materials from the Texas State Archives.
Selected examples of architect E. E. Myers’ original linen drawings will provide the 19th century cornerstone of the exhibit. Bill Kennedy’s stunning large format photographs, made for the Archives Current Events Program, will draw visitors into the renovation and expansion of the Capitol in the early 1990s.
The exhibit runs until December 31, 2013 in the Third Floor Rotunda Gallery.
