Waller Creek Conservancy, together with the City of Austin, broke ground in September 2017 on the Waller Creek chain of parks. The parks will be active places for all of Austin to enjoy and that includes food. Two public feedback sessions will be held to collect the community’s input on what food options and experiences are preferred. Through a series of interactive activities, attendees will have the opportunity to share comments on their preferred dining experience and menu. Attendees will also hear a project update on Waterloo Park, which is currently under construction. Community members may also provide feedback through an electronic survey later this month at wallercreek.org.
Food and refreshments will be served and activities for children will be provided. Attendees can enjoy a free food tasting and cooking demonstration. Spanish interpretation will be available at the Saturday meeting.
