Wally Workman Gallery will open their 12th solo show with figurative painter Patrick Puckett.

Known for his assertive brush strokes and bold colors, Puckett creates commanding work. His figures may be physically at rest, but their environment is quite alive. The vibrance of their setting, and their direct eye contact allude to an inner energy and confidence. All of the figures in Puckett’s paintings are unapologetically sure of themselves, just like the technique he employs.

The exhibit will be on display through August 3.
