TRIO’s Marchesi di Grésy wine dinner presents a rare opportunity to focus solely on the Nebbiolo wines from Marchesi di Grésy – ranging from the delicious, young Langhe Nebbiolo to the powerful, complex single cru Barbarescos from the great Martinenga vineyard – all deftly paired with a five-course menu from Chef de Cuisine Grant MacDonald and Executive Pastry Chef Javier Franco.
With the weather turning cooler, Sommelier Mark Sayre is already starting to think about red wines and their synergy with the season’s bounty. Nothing captures this feeling more than the wines of northwest Italy – Piedmont to be exact – and how well they pair with food. This event will honor Marchesi di Grésy.
