It took over a year of work and sweat from the Parks and Recreation Department to improve the lawn, trees and historic bandstand of the Wooldridge Square, and the improved park is ready for her big debut over two days. On Friday, September 13, attend the grand reopening ribbon cutting ceremony in the morning followed by food trucks and a live performance by Dale Watson. On Saturday, enjoy a full day of activities with everything from Tai Chi Ch'uan to the Austin Symphony Big Band.
