Zymmo, an app launching in the Austin and Washington D.C. markets, has a goal of connecting foodies directly to chefs - helping chefs sell meals or book private dinner gigs quickly and easily. They are partnering with local wine bar House Wine to put together a meal with wine pairings to showcase the Zymmo experience, give foodies an exciting dining experience, and support a local business all at the same time.
The virtual dinner, which will feature four courses with wine pairings, will be curated by Chef Chase Ginter, formerly of Odd Duck and now working as a private chef for Nomadic Dining ATX. He is one of the first Austin chefs on the Zymmo app and now books private dinners / sells meals directly to foodies via the platform.
Ginter and House Wine Sommelier Blake Ethridge, who will select wines to pair with the dishes, will lead attendees through a virtual dining experience where they will learn more about each dish and its wine pairing.
