The Toadies close out SXSW by playing Rubberneck in its entirety. Toadies

Name: The Toadies

Featured track: "Tyler," from Rubberneck

Genre: Rock

City of origin: Fort Worth, Texas

In one sentence: Texas grunge rock that was propelled into the national spotlight with the platinum-selling 1994 debut, Rubberneck.

Why we chose them: Your SXSW days are numbered, as the festival ends on Sunday. But how often do you get to relive the glory of grunge (1994 in this case), or hear an iconic band play its most iconic album live (start to finish)? In honor of the 20th anniversary of Rubberneck, The Toadies will close out SXSW by doing just that at Stubb's on Saturday night.

SXSW official showcase: 8 pm on Saturday, March 15 at Stubb's
