Reading Between The Wines
A love of books and beverages combine at the Reading Between the Wines event, a fundraiser to benefit the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas. The evening features wine, beer, spirit tastings, and signature pairings of local food and drinks. In addition to bites and bevvies, guests can mingle with Austin’s top tastemakers and enjoy tunes by a live DJ at the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs Mansion.
Blue Starlite Mini-Urban Drive-In presents 4th Annual Harry Potter Drive-In Film Festival
The wizarding world of Harry Potter comes to life at the Blue Starlite Drive-In — Graceland Oaks. The Harry Potter Drive-In Film Festival will feature screenings of all eight Potter films as well as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Muggles and wizards alike are encouraged to enjoy pre-show entertainment, indulge in Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, and sip on Butter Beer throughout the screening. Screenings through December 9.
Toadies in concert with Local H
Texas band Toadies rolls into Stubb’s Bar-B-Q for one night only. The Fort Worth group comes to Austin in support of their new album, The Lower Side of Uptown. Special guest Local H joins the alt-rockers to deliver an evening of epic Texas music.
