When it’s time to bid 2016 adieu, there’s no better place to be than W Austin. The downtown hotel is hosting two massive New Year’s Eve parties along with a “hangover brunch” to ensure your 2017 gets off to a fabulous start.

Calling all electric party people: The Neon Party is for you. The Living Room Bar and Trace light up from 11 pm until 2 am with music and revelry for $50 a person. (Hotel guests are complimentary.) Expect a cash bar and champagne toast at midnight, but if you really want to head into 2017 in style, you can make bottle service reservations. For $2,000, you and 14 of your friends get two bottles of spirits — your choice, of course — bubbly, and reserved seating.

Starting an hour earlier on the second floor is the glam Gold Party, which is sure to attract the glitterati. A $150 ticket includes cocktails, champagne toast, snacks, and ridiculous surprises, while DJ Mel spins beats all night long. VIP tickets, priced at $300, get you an upgraded bar, reserved seating, exclusive experiences, and the opportunity to win incredible prizes.

If you simply can’t choose which party to attend, purchase a Neon Gold Elite ticket for $400, which grants full access to each shindig and plenty of cocktails to boot.

No doubt you’ll be needing a pick-me-up on January 1, so plan on attending the Hangover Brunch. The morning-after necessity has all-you-can-eat pancakes and Tito’s Handmade Vodka Bloody Mary and mimosa bars, with additional items (hey, bacon) available as well. The cost is $25 for the 11 am-1pm brunch.
