Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert
Holiday classics are performed with a rock opera twist at the Frank Erwin Center. The Trans Siberian Orchestra returns to Austin with holiday hits. This year’s tour features songs from the hit TV special, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve. Settle in for an evening of favorites including “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” and “This Christmas Day.” Select tickets still available.

Mueller presents Winter Solstice Lantern Parade
The Mueller neighborhood and Austin's Cultural Arts Division invite locals and tourists alike to celebrate the longest night of the year. The annual Winter Solstice Lantern Parade features music, community, and hundreds of adorned lanterns for an evening of winter whimsy. Guests will also enjoy special performance by the 25-piece Minor Mishap Marching Band before the night concludes. Admission is free and festivities begin at 5:30 pm. Flashlight-based lanterns only, please.

Robert Earl Keen’s Cosmic Cowboy Christmas
Countdown to Christmas with a little help from country music star Robert Earl Keen and his band at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. The Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee will serenade holiday revelers with new renditions of seasonal hits, bluegrass tunes, and more. Keen’s storied music career boasts 19 full-length albums, including his most recent success, Happy Prisoner: The Bluegrass Sessions. Keen will be joined by Austin's own Shinyribs as the opening act.
Treaty Oak Distilling presents Festivus Party
Beloved brewery Treaty Oak invites Austinites of adult age to eat, drink, and be merry this holiday season. Party highlights include live music, a special menu, and fun games. Guests can showcase their strength while suited up Sumo-style and party by the ceremonial aluminum pole. Additional treats include bites by chef Justin Richardson and random door prizes for showing Festivus spirit. Admission is free.

Murray & Peter presents A Drag Queen Christmas: The Naughty Tour
The Christmas season can be a drag, but this star-studded performance by your favorite television queens is anything but boring. Miz Crack hosts the evening at ACL Live, featuring several favorite contestants from hit show RuPaul’s Drag Race including Aja, Latrice, Thorgy, Vanjie, and more. Be prepared to lose your wig — and embrace your most fabulous holiday spirit.
