Luxe for life: Award-winning Hiatus Spa opens new Austin location, offering newmembers some serious benefits
The award-winning Hiatus Spa + Retreat has just opened its second location in Austin with grand opening discounts— just in time for the new year.
The new 6,000 square-foot day spa, located in the Gables 5th Street Commons, features 18 treatment rooms, a nail therapy lounge with zero-gravity chairs, a hydrotherapy room with Vichy shower and an inviting relaxation room. The sleek, modern space was designed by Austin-based Dick Clark Architecture, whose prevalent work — like Kenichi and Oasis Austin — can be seen throughout the city. What better place to relieve your holiday stresses?
But Hiatus’ appeal goes much further than aesthetics. Their innovative membership program, the H-Circle, makes frequent spa visits affordable for any Austinite.
The special, grand opening offer of a ‘Founding Membership’ is available at the discounted rate of $49 a month and includes spa services for life. (Available now through Feb. 14.) The membership gets you one free "Essential Service" every month — Hiatus Massage, Hiatus Facial, Body Glow, Revitalizing Body Wrap and Mani-Pedi Retreat — plus unlimited spa services at discounted H-Circle member pricing.
Hiatus was founded in Dallas in 2007 by Sheila Garrison and Kristin Heaton-Peabody—both UT grads who rarely miss a Horns game. The duo is deeply rooted in the local community and maybe that’s why they know what Austinites like.
"We are so proud to be bringing Hiatus home," Heaton-Peabody says.
