Ferragamo revs up for fall with interactive digital trunk show starring paperdolls
Under the direction of designer Massimiliano Giornetti, the venerable Italian fashion and accessories house Salvatore Ferragamo is making a big splash for fall.
An ad campaign highlighting supermodel Kate Moss and Sean O'Pry showcasing the fall 2012 ready-to-wear collections is featured in September fall fashion magazines hitting newsstands any day now. It was shot by Mikael Jansson in Berlin's ornate Russian embassy.

Style.com praised Giornetti's "fine fall collection that married the rigor of military clothing with the romance of chiffon and lace." Referencing Revolutionary Russia and the Ballets Russes, it is on trend with sleek military looks — a belted black leather and sheared astrakhan officer's jacket is a standout — and feminine styles featuring off-the-shoulder silk dresses, peasant tops and lots of lace.
Many of the looks are arriving in Ferragamo boutiques in the Houston Galleria and Dallas NorthPark Center just in time for the cooler weather that will eventually hit Texas (a couple of months from now).
