6 Austin businesses punch in among Texas' best employers, report says

Some of the state’s top employers to work for are right here in Austin, according to a new ranking.

Great Place to Work, which helps employers improve their workplace culture, and Fortune magazine teamed up to select the Best Companies to Work For in 2022 in two categories: small and midsize employers, and large employers.

Austin claims four spots on the small and midsize employers list: 49 Financial (No. 5), OJO Labs (No. 11), Ontic Technologies (No. 15), and Scribe Media (No. 17). Two other Austin employers — both in the software industry — land on the large employers list: Sailpoint (No.  16) and Epicor Software (No. 18).
