Construction begins on new amenity center in Liberty Hill’s Santa Rita Ranch
A new addition to a $40 million master-planned community in Liberty Hill’s Santa Rita Ranch has begun construction.
The anticipated Ranch Camp Amenity Center will sit on eight acres of land and is the largest amenity complex in the ranch. The landscape architect behind the center’s design is Austin’s Robert Belanger. It will be located across from the ranch’s Homestead Village Welcome Center and model home park, and will host two pickleball courts, a pavilion, shaded arbors, and space dedicated for cornhole.
Developer Ed Horne, a four-time winning Developer of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, said in a press release that the Ranch Camp’s pools will accompany the multiple other water play activities residents already enjoy.
Highlighted water features of the all-ages amenity center include:
- Two resort-style pools
- Children’s pool
- Children’s splash zone
- Beach-style entry for young swimmers
- Water slides
- Water basketball goals
“The many features of Ranch Camp and other amenities in Santa Rita Ranch help residents live by our number one ranch code — to have fun along the way,” Horne shared in the release. “That has been part of the vision of Santa Rita Ranch from the very first day of development.”
Santa Rita Ranch is located 32 miles northwest of Austin and is one of the city’s top-selling master-planned communities. Their newest homes are priced from $400,000 up to $1 million.
Though there is no estimated time frame for the complex to open, Santa Rita Ranch residents will keep their eyes peeled as construction moves towards completion. More information is available at santaritaranchaustin.com.
