Sustainable Food Center operates four of the largest Farmers' Markets [https://www.sfcfarmersmarket.org/] in the state of Texas, right here in Austin. With roots dating back 40 years, SFC is all about cultivating a healthy community by strengthening our local food system and improving access to nutritious, affordable food in Austin. The SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown is open on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm in Republic Square. At Sunset Valley, the SFC Farmers’ Market also operates on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm at the Toney Burger Center. On the East Side, the SFC Farmers’ Market East can be found on Tuesdays from 3pm to 7 pm at the corner of Miriam and MLK, in front of the new SFC building [https://www.sustainablefoodcenter.org/capital-campaign/our-new-home].
