Austin's bright young things came out in full force on November 6 for CultureMap Austin's first ever Social. With Cadillac sponsoring the fête (as well as parking an oogle-worthy bright red Cadillac right outside), guests warmed up inside Malverde, even as the temps cooled down.
With the perfect mix of indie jams and dance favorites providing the soundtrack, young professionals mingled as servers passed around Mexican-inspired bites and sipped wine and craft beers courtesy of Ben E. Keith. Custom-made coasters from our non-profit partner Citizen Generation let folks get a peek at this year's Charity Bash Live Auction's Auctionees.
After filling up on appetizers, guests made a stop at the Cupcake Bar to conjure up their very own confections. With different cake, icing and topping options, the Bar's cupcakes were truly a unique sweet treat.
If making a customized cupcake wasn't enough, guests looking for another chance to get creative could head to patio for a painting lesson from Pinot's Palette. Using the beautiful Austin skyline as inspiration, the mini-Matisses in attendance were able to paint the evening away.
Among those in attendance were Brandon Mitchell, Ashley Beall and Bijou Finney. Drew Dousang, Lucinda Harris and Rushi Sukhavasi sipped cocktails while Jordan Stricklin and Susan Leslie enjoyed the cooler weather on the balcony.
Andrew Rice and Randy Ortega mingled while Riley Shine ordered a cupcake. Shenee Howard, Kathryn Hunter, Jennifer Condo, Kellie Reed and Gerald Limalso enjoyed the festivities.
Cocktails, cupcakes and a custom-made canvas: who could ask for anything more?
