Area non-profit leaders learned the ins and outs of social media Tuesday night during CultureMap Austin's Culture of Giving Mixer at Violet Crown Cinema.
Camp Fire USA, MainSprings School and United Way were among the non-profits mixing and mingling before heading into the cushy theater at Violet Crown Cinema for the media presentation aimed at helping charities increase their visibility using traditional and social media channels.
The event was part of a month-long partnership between CultureMap Austin and I Live Here, I Give Here (ILH, IGH). ILH, IGH's mission is to create a culture of personal philanthropy by connecting people to area non-profits and causes.
