Hot on the heels of the release of his 13th studio album, 4:44, rapper Jay-Z has announced plans for a North American tour, including two stops in Texas.
The tour will hit 31 cities in both the United States and Canada, starting in Anaheim, California, on October 27. Jay-Z will play Dallas' American Airlines Center on November 7 and Houston's Toyota Center on November 8.
4:44 was released to great hype, first on June 30 exclusively to Tidal and Sprint customers, then to everyone else as of July 7. The album was said to have gone platinum almost immediately, although that had more to do with the unique logistics of the initial release than actual sales.
Pre-sale ticket sales for Tidal members, VIP packages, and Citi Card members will take place July 10-13. An additional Live Nation/Ticketmaster pre-sale will take place on July 13, with tickets going on sale to the general public on July 14.
