Dog & Duck Returns

Dog & Duck Pub plans new East Austin location with all the old charm

Dog & Duck Pub plans new East Austin location with all the old charm

Beloved Dog & Duck Pub is poised to start pouring pints once again. The longtime campus-area staple is opening a new location on the burgeoning east side of town.

When the pub closed its original location in October of last year, owners promised to resurrect the establishment. Community Impact reports that Dog & Duck will reopen at 2400 Webberville Rd., Ste. A.

The new space will "offer patrons indoor and outdoor seating along with 40 on-tap beers but with a revamped menu," reports the outlet.

Although the building will be new, the pub will retain much of its old charm. Elements from the original location, from the floor and the fireplace to the bar, tables and chairs will be used in the new space. In addition, most of the former staff — and hopefully the regulars — will return, too.

Pints should start flowing later this summer.
