A new dining destination has arrived in burgeoning East Riverside. Mour Café + Pantry quietly opened earlier this month at the South Shore District.
Chef Nick Lowell, formerly of Brass House, has crafted a gourmet menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items served in a modern space. The pantry portion of the name refers to a small market filled with groceries, local craft beverages, and more.
Breakfast entails reasonably priced sandwiches, tacos, smoothies, juices, and pastries that can be enjoyed in-house or to-go. A special weekend brunch lineup offers decadent dishes such as peach schnapps French toast, vegetable frittata, and breakfast pizza.
Lunch and dinner options range from simple tacos, salads, sandwiches, and pizza to lobster linguine and flank steak. A full coffee menu featuring Sightglass Coffee will be served in addition to wine and beer for a different kind of buzz.
If the named sounds familiar, it's because Mour debuted this summer in downtown Austin. However, that location has since been rebranded as a Barley Bean outpost.
Mour is open Monday through Friday, 6 am to midnight; Saturday, 7 am to 1 am; and Sunday, 7 am to 11 pm.
