Animal Style in South Austin
Crazy popular In-N-Out Burger opens juicy new South Austin location
Open wide, South Austin: In-N-Out Burger is now serving patties and fries on South Lamar Boulevard.
The California-based fast-food restaurant announced the opening of its second Austin location through a Facebook post Thursday. If the Airport Boulevard spot is any comparison, you can expect impressive "animal-style" offerings and an equally lengthy wait time at this buzzed-about burger venue.
In-N-Out Burger is the newest addition to the neighborhood, with other joints like P. Terry's, Phil's Ice House, and the recently opened Shake Shack filling out the South Lamar burger boulevard. The new In-N-Out Burger resides in the former home of Wendy's.
This is In-N-Out Burger's second Austin locale, its fourth in the greater metro area. In addition to the outpost on Airport Boulevard and I-35, the fast-food chain also has locations in Round Rock and Cedar Park.
