Last weekend, Carlos Munoz and his family won a very special prize — a brand-new Cadillac ATS. And all it took was one quick snap of a photo.
Earlier this year, Cadillac announced its ATS Close-up Photo Share Contest, where posting a picture of the sporty sedan earned participants the chance to win a Cadillac of their own. The contest launched alongside CultureMap's Close-up Music Series, which featured the Airborne Toxic Event at exclusive parties in Austin, Dallas and Houston.
“I entered one time and now I’m here, sitting in a brand-new Cadillac,” Munoz said when he and his family picked up the new sedan at Covert Cadillac in Austin.
“Something like this just doesn’t happen to regular people like myself, my family. I’m just really thankful for this.”
The Cadillac ATS isn’t your typical Cadillac. Designed to go head-to-head with the BMW 3 Series, the ATS is quick, nimble and performance-driven. Named the 2013 North American Car of the Year, its entry-level price point is $33,000.
This is the final car given away in Austin, Houston and Dallas as part of Cadillac's three-month promotion. (The first winner was a CultureMap reader from Dallas who entered at one of the Close-up Music Series events.)
