What: Gather by We: Barton Springs Event Space Grand Opening

The lowdown: WeWork and CultureMap teamed up to celebrate the grand opening of the coworking giant's brand-new Barton Springs locale. In addition to being a workspace, the new facility, located just across the road from the Palmer Events Center, also houses a street-level cafe and Tiny House Coffee Roasters' first brick-and-mortar, now open to the public.
On July 23, WeWorkers and coffee enthusiasts alike gathered to toast the space with Nine Banded Whiskey cocktails while noshing on Rosen's Bagels and bites from Lucky Lime and Alpaca Market.
As Thank You For Sweating's Charles Mxxn spun tunes followed a performance by Kalu and the Electric Joint. In total, about 85 guests enjoyed the party vibes, balloon installations, and conversation. It was WeWork's first party in the new Barton Springs location, which is also available to rent as an event space.
