Bastrop’s annual Patriotic Festival will kick off on Friday with a Run, White & Blue 5K and Kids 1K Glow Run, plus a late-night street dance. Saturday’s lineup features family fun like an exotic petting zoo, a hot pepper eating contest, Zumba in the park, and much more. The festivities will come to a spectacular end with a dazzling fireworks display on Saturday evening.
