12 Bars of Charity will be making its second appearance in the downtown Austin area, and has selected nine local charities to be a part of the fundraising opportunity. Charities will include Austin Pets Alive!, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, Alzheimer's Texas, JDRF, Caritas of Austin, The Blood Center of Central Texas, The Children's Heart Foundation, Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, and AIDS Services of Austin.

The 12 Bars of Charity was created to raise money for local charities around the holidays. Crawlers pay $30 to participate and $10 goes back to the charity of their choice. Participants will also receive a long sleeve shirt in their charity’s team color and a shuttle pass to different participating bars where they will receive drink specials. All drink specials will run until 12 am.
