Cider Noir is back and to celebrate, Texas Keeper Cider is partnering up with Evan LeRoy, meat-smoking maestro formerly of Freedmen's Barbecue.
Cider Noir 2015 is a unique winter cider made from Baldwin and Idared apples, double-fermented with Belgian candi (typically used in dubbel and trippel ales), and aged on oak, with toasted pecans and orange peel. It pours dark like a porter and clocks in at about 10.1% ABV. Notes of dark fruit, toasted pread, and ripe pear.
Try it out alongside smoked meats and sides from Evan, and live music from Brand New Key.
