During the Toast & Roast, the Wine & Food Foundation of Texas will announce the 2016 Texas Wine of the Year, as selected by Texas Monthly wine editor Jessica Dupuy, and guests will choose their favorite wine from the magazine's Top Texas Wines of 2016 list as part of the "Fan Favorite" contest, while enjoying music from Austin-based traditional country musician, Bob Appel.
Along with a sip and stroll tasting of the best Texas wines, guests will snack on bites from local chefs Bryan Gillenwater of Bryans on 290, Sebastien Caillabet of Lox, Box & Barrel, John Bates of Noble Sandwich, Billy Caruso of Hudson’s on the Bend and Annabelle Turner of Vox Table.
